What We Do
NTA members are part of the BE-STEM Mentor Network which supports Northeast Ohio’s next generation of innovators to create new products, services and jobs through the application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The mentor network is made up of underrepresented STEM business professionals, entrepreneurs, educators , college and university students. These individuals serve as inspirational role models and mentors for urban youth, with the the goal of positively enriching the lives of others through face to face interactions.

The twice-weekly eXtreme Green Research Program at Lorain County Community College and Cuyahoga Community College is working to create a sustainable, alternative and renewable energy ecosystem and is inspiring the next generation of life sciences researche
NTA Cleveland hosts bi-annual STEM Fair and Robotics Competitions for middle and high school students and Academic Challenge for college students. The events are held in partnership with Cuyahoga Community College.
The Cleveland Chapter proactively seeks out the opportunity to:
o Foster BE-STEM (Business, Education, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) synergy with organizations and corporate enterprises.
o Bring historically underrepresented individuals to the attention of agencies, corporations, and institutions looking for strong, diverse talent.
